Well the class arrived & we've been doing a lot of tourist-y things.. getting people oriented with the craze of the city. It's been nice having people to share my sense of vastness of Bombay.
While it's like we've been thrown around here, it's been quite an adventure.
Yesterday we went to Colaba Causeway, a street market, and ventured off in groups. Found some good deals and not so good deals. We found a place that looks like it's going to be a good hang out spot for some drinks and food. Last night we went to Not Just Jazz by the Bay, an American Jazz club... and well, it's pretty snazzy but I found it weird to be in a semi-chic club in this country. It's weird most especially because as soon as you step out there are 3 year-olds holding babies begging you for money.
We're about to venture off.
